General Experience
I completed my indexing qualification from the Society of Indexers in 2022.
I have spent over a decade working as a librarian in international schools in Europe, North Africa and East Asia.
Before achieving my Master’s degree in Information Studies – a professional qualification – I worked at Oxford University Library Services, where I completed full cataloguing training, and in the reference section of a public library in Yorkshire.
My main specialisms are Linguistics, Education, Travel, History and Sport.
My bachelor’s degree was in Linguistics with Ancient Greek. I also have a strong interest in Hispanic and Arabic cultures, and am currently based in Egypt.
As a school librarian I am well qualified to index books aimed at younger readers, as well as textbooks for schools.
