The Sussex Group normally meet three times a year. The spring and summer gatherings tend to be more social and at our winter meeting we have lunch followed by more formal discussions and presentations on index-related matters. All Society members are welcome, and we usually get a cross-section at meetings, from very experienced indexers to absolute beginners. If you live locally and would like to meet some other indexers, why not come and join us at our next meeting?
You canalso keep in touch with other indexers via SIdeline and the group forums. Don’t forget you can participate in discussions on any of the local group forums.
The Sussex Group runs a discussion forum that is open to all members of the Society.

The visit to The Keep for a tour was postponed due to the Covid-19 situation. The Keep houses the Brighton and East Sussex local records and also the Mass Observation Archives. Luch afterwards, probably in Lewes. The Keep is at Falmer, about halfway between Brighton and Lewes just off the A27. There is parking on site and it’s a short walk from Falmer station.
