I have knowledge of human biology and the medical sciences through my university studies and a 20 + years career in the pharmaceutical industry. I have a PhD in Microbiology and worked in a public health laboratory before specialising in Regulatory Affairs in the research-based pharmaceutical industry.
I am a keen reader and user of indexes in books about infectious diseases, social history, art plus biographies, autobiographies and cookery books.
BSc (Hons) and PhD in Microbiology specialising in infectious diseases. Undergraduate and postgraduate study in medicine-related subjects e.g. bacteriology, immunology, virology, anatomy, epidemiology, histology, physiology, clinical biochemistry. Research-based pharmaceutical industry career in Regulatory Affairs.

I am from New Zealand and have lived in the Cook Islands. I have lived and worked in the UK since 1997 but visit NZ annually.
