Angela Page

I hold a music degree and I have a love of and interest in all types of music, especially classical.

I have worked in medical libraries in the NHS and in public health for the past thirteen years, gaining a thorough knowledge of medical terminology. Particular interests include musculoskeletal health, allied health, alternative and complementary medicine, public health, healthcare management, veterinary medicine.

Gardening of all types is one of my interests, including growing sub-tropical plants, cacti and succulents. I have a working knowledge of horticultural Latin.

I have undertaken short courses in education and teaching, and I have experience of teaching and training students and medical staff.

Interest in local history of Hampshire where I grew up and of Dorset where I now live.

I practice yoga and pilates. I am interested in mental health and wellbeing, and am a member of my employer’s mental health policy group.

Formerly employed temporarily as a veterinary nurse, I have owned cats, dogs and fish, and I have volunteered in a wildlife rescue centre and as a dog walker.

Travel, both actually doing and reading about, is one of my passions.

Trains planes and cars are one of my interests.

Studied cookery and nutrition. Interested in all things food and drink. CAMRA member.

Particular interests include sports medicine, walking, yoga, pilates, football, snooker.

Keen RSPB member.

I am a regular walker with my local Walking for Health Group and The Ramblers.
