SUMMARY:National Indexing Day 2024 Publishers' Workshop
DESCRIPTION:For National Indexing Day 2024 we are back in London with an in
 -person workshop for publishing professionals who would like to improve th
 eir understanding of the indexing process. The workshop will run twice\, s
 tarting at 10:30 in the morning and repeating at 14:00 in the afternoon. Y
 ou only need to book a ticket for one of the sessions.\n\nFollowing a welc
 ome from our honorary president\, Sam Leith\, a series of presentations by
  professional indexers will cover the value of indexes\, how best to work 
 with an indexer and the advantages of indexing software used by indexers. 
 There will also be an interactive practical session for participants to tr
 y live indexing and time for questions and discussion. Outline programme h
 ere\n\nThe workshop provides a useful opportunity for indexers and publish
 ers to learn from each other so that together we can create better indexes
  and make non-fiction books more valuable and saleable.\n\nPlaces are stri
 ctly limited and booking will close on 20th March.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;
